Those Who Make It Happen

Every enterprise is a collective enterprise. Guayaba y Chocolate would not have been possible without the help of the following people:

Luis Alejandro Pérez shared his talent and a life long graphic design experience and worked with us for hours on end to produce a logo that we adore. A thousand thanks to him!

Christian Ocon (contractor extraordinaire!) and his team (Victor and Rolando Santini, especially), who worked lovingly in the shop for nearly two months to make it look as we dreamed. They had the patience to start again every time we changed our mind on something and did so with a smile and –more important- with excellent insight about what was appropriate and what was not.

Hannah Ahlblad, the promising young architect, was there to advise us during the remodeling process and was a permanent source of inspiration. We just don’t know where we would be without her …

Don Sigfredo, the Master Carpenter, crafted beautiful pieces for the shop and offered us his vast knowledge and creative energy regarding not only carpentry solutions but also friendship and emotional connection.

Patricia Salazar Escorche, without a doubt the best graphic designer in Miami … Pattz explored with us the one thousand and one versions of every design we liked and made prettier even our prettiest ideas. We just love her.

The Peña Clan offered interior design advice, financial support and loads of assistance during the first phase of this project. Antonio, on the other hand, has been there every step of the way, carefully revising graphic design proposals and advising on electric appliances, web hosting, WiFi connectivity and other sacred and profane matters.

To them (and to the ones we might be forgetting) our heartfelt thanks.
